Christine Tierney, D.M.D., a Coaching Solutions client, will be featured on Fox TV on October 10, 2009

American Health Front will feature Dr. Tierney from 7:00 to 7:30 pm

Dr. Tierney will address new technology in dentistry that has made it easier for patient’s to not only have a beautiful smile, but address serious patient issues such as the bite, joint pain and muscle spasms. Dr. Tierney will discuss a comprehensive patient examination that focuses on the whole mouth. After a thorugh medical and dental history is taken, she often discovers underlying problems that may be contributing to the patient’s cosmetic issues as well as their overall well being.

Dr. Christine L. Tierney is a 1986 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She Completed her post graduate training, General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT before opening her practice in Greenwich. Dr. Tierney is also a graduate of the Aesthetic Advantage, Rosenthal Institute at NYC. In addition to her extensive training in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, she has been trained in laser dentistry. She is committed to continuing education to bring the latest and most advanced techniques to her patients.

In 2009, Dr. Tierney was named in America's Top Dentists for Cosmetic Dentistry by Consumers' Research Council of America. Dr. Tierney was inducted in 2003 into the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Honorary Dental Organization recognizing outstanding dentists and celebrating their achievements. Dr. Tierney's passion for the dental profession has led her to serve on the Advisory Board of the University of New Haven School of Dental Hygiene where she was instrumental in starting a much needed dental hygiene program. She is the Past-President of the Greenwich Dental Soceity. Dr. Tierney created Women of Wisdom, a mentorship program for women dentists in Connecticut and New York that was recognized and funded by the Connecticut State Dental Association. Dr. Tierney volunteers for the Mission of Mercy which provides comprehensive dentistry to the underprivileged in Connecticut. Dr. Tierney is also a participant in the Give Back a Smile Program where dentists donate their time and talent to help restore the smiles of victims of domestic violence.
